  DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
                       Mr.Kukunda Charles

......Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. - Proverbs 31:8

Kazira orphans project in Uganda has been wholeheartedly working since 2009. All staffs are doing all their level best in empowering and enabling children to be self supportive, self sufficient self employee and productive citizen of the country. I would like to pass my deepest gratitude to all our donors, supporters and volunteers. It is all your effort which enabled Kazira orphans Project to exhibit all these magnificent humanitarian activities to these orphan and vulnerable children of the community. Truly speaking, your contribution  remains touching and historical in children’s life.

The world of ethics, courtesy and empathy is currently referred to a world of the past. All round the world today, there have been cases of inhuman, inconsiderate and ill treatment of pregnant mothers and orphans. These groups have silently suffered due to there vulnerability and our governments have done but little to improve there appalling conditions. The same situation cited above is prevailing in Uganda. Due to several reasons including; HIV/AIDS epidemics, war and conflicts, domestic violence and even poverty, many pregnant mothers have faced unimaginable suffering and loneliness, which most of the time lead to depression. Some troubled pregnant mothers have aborted or miscarriaged in such conditions. Those who manage to persevere sometimes find themselves throwing the babies in latrines and pits! In the same way, young children have been orphaned due to several conditions including; HIV/AIDS, Domestic violence, poverty and wars. These desperate kids are left with no hope of survival for the future.Kazira orphans project  in Uganda is the haven of relief and comfort, to offer confidence and assurance to these groups to ensure that there is hope and assurance of a brighter and productive future.

Thank you very much.

CHILDREN VOICE

4 years of Kazira  Orphans Project

2009-2013.

Kazira orphans project is a grassroots organization advocating for orphans and vulnerable children and families in Uganda. We use social policy, education, and family empowerment to promote solutions that strengthen vulnerable families and care for orphans
Every child has the right to a voice on matters that affect them and to have their views taken seriously – in accordance with their age and  maturity.
Children will have to deal with the consequences of the decisions adults make today on issues such as HIV and AIDS, climate change and poverty, so it is important that their views be considered  decision-
 makers.

"Every one is a star and creative"

Asaph 9, spends his time (waiting for breaking of the fast) painting pictures of people, houses, animals and rainbows on ground, and with a smile he refers to his painting as a ‘heavenly home so at Kazira orphans project center we train children to be creative and do things that can keep them busy to forget their loved parents and in future they will earn a living from art work.

Needs and Handcrafts
‘“We are the world, we are the children, we are the ones who make a brighter day so, let us start giving”

It is the heart that makes a man rich. He is rich according to what he is, not according to what he has
